Elvis is made by Glass Hawk. I know Arrrowsprings carries their Self-Striking Ruby Red and their black which is actually supposed to be a super saturate ruby red. I think Glasscraft has it as well.

I've got it as well, I think I'm out of the standard Ruby, I have Black and Light Red.

I bought some from Glasscraft in Tucson. It's luscious! Even stringer stays a nice saturated red.

Generations Glass carries Elvis as well.

Elvis is made by Paul Trautman, the founder of Northstar Glassworks.

Holly, You know who has it right down the road from you. Didn't you get an account there? If not, I'll pick it up for ya. You're less than 10 minutes from the best source in town. I was just there today and they had plenty, wish i knew you needed some.

Yeah, I used to order most all of my stuff from them. We have an account with Art Glass House now, so I order from them. But I still order from Lampworking Supplies when I don't need a whole pound of something, or AGH is out.

I picked up a bunch from Winship. I Elvis with a passion - OMG, it is the best trans ruby color ever. It practically self strikes -I have to work the other clear reds (like pomegranite and ruby) in and out and play with them to get the color to come back properly. With Elvis, I just melt it, shape it and then watch with big bug eyes as the red blossoms back into the glass with almost no prompting. Nummy, nummy.

The Black Elvis is great - it is probably the best dichro backing color out there.
