Default Bead Release Flaking Off

I use Fusion bead release and have for years. Now - all of a sudden when I try to make boro bead hole beads the bead release blows up in the flame? Any suggestions. It is fresh bead release - only on the mandrel a day or two.....and try to keep it under the flame.....

Does it need watering down more? Do the mandrels need a little sanding so it holds better?
