nobody lives in Spokane and knows of any vendors? How about some good bead shops or places to eat, or things to see and do?

I'm sorry Samantha, I wish I could help.
I was born in Spokane, lived there for the first 9 yrs of my life and haven't been back but once or twice since. I've heard there are a couple good bead shops but I've not been.
Here's one I'd like to visit one day. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
William Hagy (Norski at LE) has a studio and gallery I'd like to visit as well. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
I wish there were more I could tell you. Maybe when you get back you can tell me what to do and where to go. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

You're welcome and I hope you have a great time.
I forgot to mention in my post that I only live a couple hours away from Spokane, which makes it really sad that I don't know of any more places to tell you about.

There are no glass vendors here, if that's what you're looking for. Rings & Things is right downtown and I second going to Wonders of the World. There is another good bead store called "Bead Addict's Attic" on Garland St.
Check out Spokane Falls and Riverfront Park. The Falls are really running fast right now. This weekend is "Hoopfest" - a huge basketball tournament.
Have fun!

Thanks Janelle!!
I heard there was a place called Glass Gods too that offers lampworking lessons and has a shop? Anyone know if they are still open?

It's not much of a retail shop. Nice guys/gals but really - the last time I was in, they had about 50 long rods of soft glass. I'd say they're mainly boro. You could see what classes William Hagy and Northwest Glass Society has going on. He's a member here on LE. William also does a lot of boro but he has a schedule of classes.
