What COE do you use for flowers??
Iam trying to decide if I should buy some Bullseye glass to try. It says on the BE site that some of their glass contains lead. Does all glass? If you make flowers can you show me pics and tell me what COE you use and why? I will start this is a photo of the flower I have been trying to make. COE 104 Moretti and CIM. I use 104 because that is what I started on.
Thanks maybe this will help me decide.

Some colors of almost all soft glass brands have lead in them. Crystal drinking glasses and serving ware also contain around 20-25% lead oxide, some older stuff up to 35%. So long as you don't reduce it on the surface it's not a big deal. If you reduce it to a metallic surface, then you have a problem.

Wow those are some nice flowers. Glad I asked to see them. So the lead really isn't a big deal, good. I just hope it's hard to reduce it. I hope there are more flowers out there and I would love to see them.

I use mostly Bullseye for sculptural flowers, some wonderful garden colors and a little stiffer for holding shape when fire-polishing.

David love the color and shape of your flower. Very nice and you will get those incased flower, keep trying. Lee those are awesome. I really like the purple one. I am ordering Bullseye glass Monday. Can't wait to try it. Wish me luck.
