Wink glass cutting tool?

A few years ago I bought a pair of dichroic glass earrings. They are my absolute favorite earrings and I live in fear of breaking them. The person who made them was kind enough to make me a new one when I dropped and broke one but said she was almost out of that glass. Since I have my kiln for beads, I have decided that I have to try fusing. I would like to get some glass and just play around with jewelry sized pieces. Could someone tell me what kind of glass to get and what is the best/easiest (for a newbie) glass cutter to get. Must be the time of year and snow outside making me want to do this! Thanks in advance, Judy

Like David, I'm a fan of the Toyo pistol grip cutter. They contain oil; be sure to clean the glass thoroughly before firing to remove any residue.

Just an FYI - I don't use oil in my cutters. It won't damage the cutters and you won't have to worry about getting the oil back off the glass.

I also have a Toyo but it's the Custom Grip. I LOVE IT!!
