Looking for Simple Rod Implosion project
I am just over 20 hours on the torch. Got mushroom pendants down , want to move to a simple rod implosion. I have the tool coming with the 1 1/2", 2" dots but not till next week, i have access to hotglass mag sub, so if someone could give me a back issue that has a simple 1,2 color rod implosion project, or any other tutorial.

Have you looked in the boro tutorial section here? There is a ton of good info.
What is this tool you mention? I've never heard of it.

The simplest rod implosions that I know of are your basic flower implosion. Heat up a gather, press out a maria, put a few small dots of yellow in the middle (poking them with a pick if you want long stamens), then place slightly larger dots or short, wiggly lines around the central ones in concentric circles. Heat the edge of the maria slowly and evenly, and it will gradually re-form itself back into a ball, forcing the dots to form up into an encased flower. Flattening the rear side and adding a loop on one end will get you a nice pendant. There are numerous videos on youtube that explain the process better than I have. Go and have a look!
