Thanks! I was pretty happy with most of these. B of NC is Beadmakers of North County - they have a shop in Escondido and hold classes and stuff. www.bofnc.com

Super ladies there - Pam, Katie, Sandy & Deb. Firefest is just group torch time - I do most of my torching at home, but sometimes it's fun to be with other fire fans

Are you pulling frit into stringer or rolling the base bead in frit - melting in?? zig-zag encased? Inquiring minds want to know - these are great!

Here are a few I did yesterday using mostly Precision and Momka colors. The round one was my first attempt at making a "space" pendant, but unfortunately the background washed out a bit. However, I am going to try that one again.

I blame all the nice colors on Brent, and all the funky shapes on me.

Hopefully we will be able to get Brent out here to Austin one of these days. I really want to take his class so I can stop wasting so much DAP trying to get decent colors.

What he taught us was to beat up the DAP. Lots of heat till it goes clear, lots of twirling it around to capture the haze. This was my very first piece in the class and it is DAP.

None of these are stringers.. just full rods and frit. Now I just need to make some more for a set.. When I am not sure how things will turn out, I just make a few figuring I will make more later...
I sure do end up with a lot of orphans this way, though!

Thanks for the kudos, friends.

Wow, Eric and Jo, nice hearts and pendants.
Smiley's class was so much fun! He makes everything look effortless.

Here are two closeups of a heart and pendant.

Here is a little set I just made, I love how the colors came out.

Carrie, I adore the "pansy" pendant. And I would be happy about the colors on that set also. Nice..

Ohhh....5 new frit blends....can't wait to hear about them!!! What kinds of colors???? When will you be posting sample beads???? I just love working with your frit - it's so versatile and forgiving and most of all well trained - it knows what to do even when I don't!

Eric the colors and clarity are fabulous.....you have one hot torch guy! I always love seeing what you post....the colors just thrill me.....and I'm still going to figure out how to do those hearts! It's tough being a visual learner in a "word" world.....or perhaps it has something to do with the lack of patience I often experience when reading directions.....

I finally got pinky pink...magenta pink! Woohoo!!! Yes, these beads are really that bright. I love them! Too bad I have to sell them on eBay tomorrow.

BTW...I struck these in the kiln 5 times to get this bright pink. The sparkle is of course my favorite Disco Sparkle.

This hear is Plum Crazy with Paula's awesome Caught by the Teal frit. I LOVE her frits!!

Same frit this time with Mystery Adventurine.

Sorry to be a hog, it's been a while since I posted.
