Default Satake Glass question

I am soooo in love with Satake Glass but hummm. I went out yesterday and bought a rod of pink and a rod of black. Just to try. I played with it last night and today the black beads have an gas colored kind of shean to it ( like gas on water) I like it but I am wonder since I have been the burning queen these days if I burnt the black. Also the black on pink looks great but the pink on black kinds gets lost. It is there...it is pink but not very noticable but the black on pink is like a bang - you know that is pink and that is black.

PLEASE HELP
Cathy

I think there is at least one Satake black that will reduce heavily and leave a very metallic surface film. I've seen Michael Barley use it in his beads. If you burn the Satake it gets kind of a matte, frosted look - not metallic.

Default thanks

CCCOOOOLLL Courtney - I like it but if I am "burning" it I wanted to stop. But since I have dubbed myself the burning queen it is hard to give up that title. lol 90% of what I make this last week has been burnt including a plain black (not satake) cylinder.

Thanks
Cathy

I haven't used it but I believe it has to be worked VERY cool...
I heard it would be good to use if you have a hothead...
