BC/Northern Washington Lampworkers: Is anyone interested in a 104 COE glass swap?
I don't know about the rest of you, but when I first started torching, I was a bit of a force of nature and just -had- to have a little of every colour to find out which colours appealed to me. Now, I know what I like and I'd just as soon pare down my glass stash to just that so all that wasted money isn't staring balefully at me every time I turn around.
Do you live in BC and want a chance to trade colours you don't particularly like for ones that you do? We all like very different things... one flameworker's trash is another's treasure!
Do you want to get together for a bit of a barbecue and a few cold beverages?
I'd like to host a glass swap if there are enough people interested. It could be a fun way to while away a Sunday afternoon and free yourself from that glass that you just can't force yourself to melt!
I'm thinking I'd like to do this on August 30th, and I'm in White Rock.
