Scanner glare
Hi, I use a scanner for my beads, and unless the beads are etched, I don't think you can get rid of the glare.
However, what I have noticed is that sometimes aligning your beads differently will create less glare. For example, I scanned this bead horizontally, and the glare was all along one side, because of the alignment of the scanner light. But when I scanned it vertically, the glare was mostly at the very top. That was the least amount of glare I could get. (This second scan is the one shown - I did not keep the first)
Also, the shape of the bead makes a difference, as do different scanners.

However, now that we're talking about glare, how distracting is it? Is it obvious that it's just light glare, or do you think people will assume that is odd white glass on the beads? I'm so used to the glare effect, I don't even see it anymore, and I guess I always assumed others did too. What do y'all think?
