twisted Coke bottle
I came across a picture of a twisted Coke bottle--anybody ever made one or know how it's done?
Are the bottles emptied and refilled after? Torched or done in a kiln or glory hole?

i imagine it's heated up in the kiln, pulled out of the kiln on a stainless or boro (hell even quartz) punty and then just heated and twisted. probably would be easier with a glory hole, but i'm sure if your torch was big enough that would work too.
i've been wanting to try this with some mini coke bottles i have, i just haven't gotten around to it yet.

For years these were made at fairs in the amusement park/games area. They were emptied/dried and suspended in an open bottom kiln

oh, hanging while heating, that makes sense.
I guess as a kid, I assumed they were stretched when filled. I'm kind of disillusioned that isn't the case.

I just saw these at our local fair. They were Corona bottles though. They were not making them, just selling them.
