Hi Everybody,
I just made up the first Fat Kitty bead patterns - from VERY easy to the full-pattern design in Devardi and effetre, so give it a try if it appeals to you! I'm showing my first try at making them from the patterns so we can all improve together!

Kitty made with D-108 Semi-Opaque Lemon Yellow

Making the silly beads sure lightens your day! And thinking of sending them to sick little ones makes it better still!
Here are some of Willy's variation. Be sure to post yours if you make him!

I have a Lizard on a bead and a Fish worked up as of last night, and photographed. I am working on the text to go with the pics.
I will do photo steps from now on because people had a hard time with the Kitty with text only. I will remake it with pics eventually too.
Are you looking for any one in particular?

Okay, 'Slim the Lizard' is now up on the Critter Tutorial! He's in need of a big bowl of ice cream to fatten up, but he will give you practice making toes and eyes... 'Francine' the Fish is next up!

Can't wait to try some these. Will have to remember to print those out tomorrow. I wanted to give kudos to Natasha once again, I emailed with a question about an hour and a half ago and she has already answered. Mind you its after 9pm here. That's some seriously good customer service and it wasn't anything that couldn't have waited til morning. So thanks again Natasha!

Thank you... these were fun to make...
The petal flower is Jade Green base with OP white with TR Red (???) over and Super Clear... The stamen stringer is OP High Density Black with Op Lemon Yellow... The leaf is either OP Frog Green or OP Olive...
The other is OP High Density Black with Butterscotch Marble with silver foil stringer dots, encased in Super Clear...

Thank you...
Make a fat twisty of OP White base paddle, put D134- Semi-Opaque Purple on one side and a TR. NCN-Transparent Dark Violet on the other... be sure to almost cover the white with the purple glass.. Make High Density Black base, wrap with purple twisty, leaving a bit of space between the wraps and slowly melt in...
I think any of the SOP and TR. colors would work for the twisty.. The thiner you make the twisty the thiner the ribbon look you will get...
Post pics if you make some... I would love to see them...

Paula... Thank you... It was good to get back on the torch again...
Bethany... Me too...
