I mixed just the eensiest amount of it into some frit and rolled the bead in it. You get color from the frit and little silver dots too.

I make my own silver powder and I mix it with frit and murrini/milli, it is good for blowing silvered shards too. Or even just sprinkle some and roll your bead in it. Also I have thought about but haven't tried yet...
Using it like enamel and making a little design on my marver with it and then rolling the bead onto it.

Not really. I wore a dust mask and I used a solid troy oz of fine silver and a special drill bit. I put a large piece of transparency paper over the whole thing to help reduce flying silver bits. It isn't as fine as Pixie dust but it is powder.

What drill bit? I used one with "nub" to make fine shaving, but I'd love to do a powder once I use up the powder that I purchased a few years ago.

I use a tiny sifter that I purchased from Arrow Springs and sift it onto a hot bead. It distributes it better and in a more even fashion. WEAR A MASK and make sure you do it right under your ventilation system.
