It's a torch mounted marver, you can get them from Arrow Springs.

Which one?
The one up high & to the left is a TV & the small one directly over is a shield.

I hope that mine will come out nearly as nice as yours....my trailer was FREE off of Craig's list and I have it almost gutted....looking for a few stainless steel work tables from used restaurant supply places right now, but the one I went to yesterday was gone........darn, back to flooring for the time being....

It's great, but do you find it's too bright inside, I'm going by your interior photos, after seeing your setup I'm looking for an old trailer to convert as well, right now I work in the basement of a 150 year old house that has 6 foot ceiling down there, I feel like I'm in an old dungeon.

No, it's just right. I am not sure how a studio could even be too bright?

Just wanted to share this.
When we bought this little travel trailer to use as a studio until we moved to a new house, I had planned on it being a temporary solution. My last studio was an incredible little heritage house, (the entire thing was mine to use how I wanted.)
Well we have bought a new house & are moving & much to my surprise I have decided to keep it as a studio instead of building another one. It really is too perfect & fills my needs exactly.
So I guess what I'm saying is if you get the chance to buy one, do it!

The more I read about trailers as studio's, the more I think about it. Especially if it is mobile, and could be moved. Kinda like you don't even have to pack a toothbrush, or Err, that would be a Torch in our case. Anyway, on Craig's list for the vintage trailers, I used the search word, Camper.

We moved two months ago & finally got our renos finished.
Tom hooked up my electric yesterday & Voila!

My studio is ON.

Honestly, if you are thinking about a trailer for a studio, it rocks. Ours cost us just $80 to get towed to our new house.

(We had it soooo full of boxes, furniture etc. it was way overweight to haul with our little 4 cylinder truck.)

Today, I shall make beads.

flameonglass; It's really fun to see how creative people can come up with solutions to problems. You have a great workplace and did a super job with it. What I was wondering is where did you get your eye shield? It's terrific!

I love how you elevated the work surface with glass blocks, that looks so cool!

I also think the magnetic strips for tools is a fantastic idea and have planned doing the same in my new studio.
