Default Where can I buy 96 frit??

I need to purchase several specific colors of size #1 frit in 96 to do some speciality mixing for a client. I've been to several frit sites but don't see where I can just purchase solid color frit in 2-4oz sizes. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Angie - did you check with Leslie at ThatFritGirl? She has quite a few solids listed on her website.

Hi Patty,

Yes I checked her site and she has a couple possibilities but I need yellow and periwinkle. I'd go for 104 if I could find size 1.

Hot Glass Color sells the Kugler line in 2 oz. sample sizes. Lots of yellows, not sure about periwinkle ...

If you can't find the colors you need in 96 it looks like Frantz has periwinkle and several yellows in 104 effetre.

I've always wondered, but what about the spectrum 96 that fusers use? Delphi has scads of frit colors to use for fusing.

What is size 1? I have some Reichenbach (sp) I'll check colors tomorrow. The size I have is like granulated sugar.

Thanks everyone .... Kugler looks like it will work for me. What I can't get there, I'll just crush myself. I knew you all would know where to get this.... thanks again.

You can use Spectrum System 96(aka Uroboros) for bead making. The colors are less saturated than furnace cane, and I would not use them with 104 or with Bullseye. I believe they have a lower metal content that makes the less "flexible."

contact her. If you only need small amounts I am sure most all frit makers would be happy to sell you a bit if they have it on hand.

I love Olympic Color but I don't think you can buy less than 1/2 kilogram of frit. Angie was looking for 4 oz or less.
