Ok, ready to move to a concentrator.. Where do I start?
Should I start with a used/refurbished, or whatever? I hear people talking about their concentrator a breaking down all the time... I am not mechanically enclined so would have to pay for most repairs.... Is new worth the investment?
What manufacturer is best?
So sick of hauling tanks in and out....😕
Would love everyone's input, please!
Thanks!

About 6 years ago I bought a reconditioned concentrator from Kimberly who owns " Pyronamix ". Give her a call and she will answer all of your questions.
In the 6 years that I have owned my concentrator, I have not had any problems .

They are pretty reliable machines from my experience.
Most of the ones I have seen on Craigs List have only been used for a short time but they have also mostly only been 5 lpm with the rare 10lpm.
If you want to do monster sizes of soft glass or large boro or production work I would point you to the higher capacity machines.
Kimberly won't steer you wrong.

Concentrators are great and break very rarely.
They were designed to run day and night and keep people alive so they are reliable to a high degree.
Own 3, a borofire 815, and two invacare platinums 5lpm.
My invacare platinum's have 54,000 and 62,000 hours on them and together will run the 15 jet outerfire on my GTT Phantom.
No worries about breaking Down you will do fine.

I bought 2 refurbished Regalia from Oxygen Plus.....they run both rings of my Bravo like magic. I've had them about 4 yrs.....regular cleaning keeps them purring....

I have been using mine for one year. The sale went super smooth and Dave is very attentive.

I also got mine from Dave at Available Oxygen. Nice guy and great service. I have heard only good things about Kimberly but Dave was just across the state line so I could pick it up.

Just figured out that I have been running my Regalia for six years with no problems whatsoever. Definitely worth the money!

Sorry I have been MIA.....not ignoring the cleaning question.....just extra involved with grandkids for a couple of weeks! As for cleaning, I wash the sponges foam filter weekly and clean my torch at the end of about 8-10 hrs torching.....also use can of keyboard air spray to keep regulator descuzzed.
