Really like the colors you have in that pendant, Jamn! Your silk ribbon looks great with it.
Here is a pendant done with DAP and Silver Creek

I finally stopped accumulating beads and started to do something with them.
The disks are DAP, Blue Moon, Brilliant Blue and Blue luster with clear - independent - not mixed together.
The lentils are Havana Moon with clear frit, trail of clear then encased and Cobalt base with dots or scrolls of GAP - clear over the dots and scrolls - got some mud because I was rushing the process.
The bracelet beads - I have no idea!!
Jamn! LOVE your pendant! Will probably be knocking on your door for some ribbon - how cool to make your own to match to your pendants.
Leah - those colors yummy - beauties!
Heidi - what nice clear purple - nice!

Leslie - these are beautiful! Very rich looking.
Hey do you ever find when working with rust that you get these persistent bubbles that primarily show up after encasing and they always burst in the kiln leaving a nasty green color behind?
Does anyone? I will post a couple of examples. Not sure if I got a bum batch or if this a characteristic of Rust. I will say it does not happen every time...

Lots of boro beauties! I love the confetti beads - really brilliant colors and the bracelet with the silver cubes is lovely too. And all the rest - yum! For both of these, I used some Fool's Gold that I think was a NS second (they had run out of the first quality)?? I really like it, but it is bubbly and not the best quality. This would be so great if a little cleaner - a real sparkly gold color.

Sandy, I got some first quality of fools gold. Its not a very nice glass.....here is an example....
Maybe if I encased it...but it bubbled and boiled like nobody's business!

With the Fool's Gold - I encased and pulled stringer and it was better - not great, but usable.

New stuff - Pomegranate Lentils and Pomegranate Pebble stones with DAP scroll/dots, etc, , Lt. Ruby cobble stones and Pomegranate (or possible Orange - can't remember) rounds with Butterscotch frit.

Hi Heidi,
Thanks! I love this color - actually got three different shades from three different sessions - it was interesting - some deeper wine and others more pomegranate color - I did not take pics of the other beads.
The lentils were made with the exact same colors, but since I forgot to strike the DAP, I reheated the beads and for some reason they striked (flame) to totally different shades.
