Class Description:
Learn to make beautiful japanese beads using moretti glass to form realistic 3D flower designs. Simple murinni flower techniques, murinni placement into beads, encasements techniques and heat control will be covered. Instructor demos with plenty of hands on practice included in this fun filled class. Some lampworking skills required.

Class Description:
Learn to make complex borosilicate butterfly murinni canes. This cane can be used in a variety of applications such as beads, rings, marbles, pipes, paperweights and pendants. You will learn to construct multi component pieces of butterfly lobes with shaded gradation out of borosilicate glass. With heat control, proper welding and punty work there will be plenty of hands on time to construct your vary own murinni cane. Don't miss out on this rare, one of a kind workshop, with a gifted international instructor. Some lampworking skills required.

Will he teach a complex flower murrini like in the first bead on your site? Or at least demo it? I wish the second class was flower murrini class instead of butterfly murrini but if the first class could at least show us how he does that amazing complex looking flower stuff he does like no other I might fly cross country just for that!

Hi Suzan,
Yes, he taught that last year, and he'll teach that flower murrini this year, all I have to do is ask him. Aki is really neat that way.
I wish every class could be custom tailored to every person, but the best thing is to just get to the class with the artist you want to learn from and start to pick their brain.
I'll get him to teach the flower murrini again, like I said he taught it last year, he did a yellow one.
