Default Mega Minor flame question

I just switched from a Minor to a Mega Minor and I know that the flame should be wider but the 2 outside candles are longer than the rest. Is this normal?

Can you show a photo? I don't think mine are, unless you are talking a very small amount and I have just not noticed.

I was totally surprised when I started my Mega Minor for the first time.

Flame Fan is spread much wider. But, end candles are not necessarily longer. I would call Nortel to inquire.

Thanks Dix and Eileen for your help. I took someone's advice and called Nortel. They said as long as they were just a little bit longer then this was ok..they can't always get them all exactly the same length. They were very nice and helpful at Nortel, which is great to know you can call them for questions.

If it is brand new it may have either some type of preservative and or cutting oils from when they were making it.

I have never even seen one myself but I assume that it will take a few hours of use for things like that to get blown out of the insides of the torch.

Kelly, I have always found the staff at Nortel very willing to help. I'm glad you called and got some reassurance directly from the manufacturer!
