Default Strikeing Reichenbach Rl-9202-c black co 104

Hello all
I really love Reichenbach as the colors are rich and beautiful but
to strike [ the strikers ] can be a pain .
The cane should strike silver-ish but I have had no luck so far .
Anyone using this cane ??
Thanks for any thoughts
Ken

I haven't used this black, but I doubt that it's a striking color. Try reducing it and see if you get the silver that way. Good luck!

yeah I was going to say I think the metallics or silver-ish look comes from reduction, but I haven't worked with that specific glass.

I've never used it, but I generally reduce that kind of glass by shaping my bead, and then letting it cool until the red glow is gone (hold it under the table to see the red glow better), then turn down the oxy and give it a light reduction. Some glass won't reduce if it is too warm.
