Default Any wise words on IRIS SAVAN?

Can't seem to find much info on Iris Savan. I haven't purchased any yet but it looks like something I would really like.

Anyone have anything to add?

(The name alone makes me think I NEEEED it!!!!) LOL!

Iris Savan

It's the Kugler version of one of the ASK colors. I can never keep them straight, but I'm pretty sure it was either the silver cinnamon or the caramel apple.

Lynn.........I don't have a pic. of a bead, but can give some information and pics. of my rods.

Kugler first produced it for Arrow Springs ASK and it's called Caramel Apple ASK-009.
Then they produced the glass under their own name called Kugler Beadmaking 104 Iris Savanne B182A.
It's a striking & reduction color.
You can see results of different steps on their website here:
http://www.kuglercolors.de/beadmakin...ng_perlen.html
Scroll down near to the end of the site.

Hope that helps.

Elke

It looks really pretty silvered and reduced. It also makes a really nice base for Aurae dots with clear over them. Me likey.

Oh my gosh, a sampler batch of Kugler is the next thing on my shopping list -- Artistry In Glass has a sampler of one of each rod and I can't wait to try them. Once I scrape enough money together it will be MINE! I didn't realize this delicious colour is a Kugler!

I am a huge fan of Kugler beadmaking 104.
I looove all the "silver" colours, the lillarot (redpurple) is a gorgeus purple, the sartrosagelblich is great for skincolour, the olive is great and the clear .....I just could not live without the kugler clear. It is easy to work with, does not scumm, is actually clear -I could go on.
Love Kugler.

Does anybody know if the B 502 Sattrosa Gelblich is close to the ASK Pink Lady Slipper and if anyone imports it?

Thanks, Squid! I wonder if it is the same or close. I am into a project that uses up the last of my Pink Lady Slipper and I don't want to tackle trying to finish it if I can't match what I have.

I've never used either one, but hopefully someone can help. Maybe start a new thread so you get some eyes on it?

My Iris Savanne turns always brownishgold - I love the color - , no matter how often I am reducing and striking it ☺, never got it such a light silver.

Hugs
Manuela
