Default What and Where: Bead Cap Metal?

I am ready to try some bead capping.

What gauge metal do you suggest?

Where do you like to buy your sheets of metal?

Where do you get your texture plates or imprint thingees or design makers?

Any info that someone would want to get started and have fun with this is appreciated by me and anyone else who may come looking for this info.

I saw metal sheets at beadfest this weekend, they were either way too flimsy or way too thick.

Do you roll your own metal to make it thinner?

Thank you.

Not sure on the particulars, but I know I've seen threads on here with some of this info

here are a couple that come up with the google search lampworketc: bead cap stamp
sometimes that search works a little better than the search here because you can use 3 letter words
