Default Nortel Minor Torch

I just took my first lampworking class last week and am hooked! I have a hothead Torch with propane for enameling and would like to upgrade to a Nortel Minor Torch with propane and a refurbished oxygen concentrator. Would anyone know of a Nortel Torch for sale?? I'm in Mount Angel OR. Thank you.

Welcome to the addiction! Ha ha ha ha

I used a hardware store welders torch for my first year or two playing an hour or two a month to begin with.

I even made my own kiln with a 1500 watt space heater with the quartz filament covers, a large mail box and 2 inch thick kaolin wool.
I made the mistake of getting a temp controller with instructions translated through 5 languages but that was more than a decade ago so you probably wouldn't have that problem (and I do techy stuff all the time too).

Check out the garage sale thread for things for sale and I understand there are a few FB sites for lampwork destashing as well.

Use the search function here and put two or more words in quotes to help the old fashion search software not get caught up trying to give you a massive list of each individual word search.
That can soak of hours of server time and act like it's ignoring your request altogether.

There is one for sale in the Facebook group Destash supplies for the lampwork bead artist.
The auction ends tonight but she might have more torches for sale after as she bought a bunch in a studio buyout.

I am in the process of liquidating my studio and am looking to get rid of everything. I have a full boro studio including a Nortel Major/Minor with a surface top. Glass, tools, kiln, everything but the tanks and exhaust. I live north of Spokane WA and could potentially deliver to Oregon. PM me for a complete inventory.
