Default Jim Byrnes class

I am signed up for a class with Jim Byrnes in April at the Corning Museum.
Introduction to Boro. Has anyone else done a class with this artist? Any comments.

He assisted at a class that I took from Margaret Neher at Corning. He has also taught a lot of classes up that way on his own. I remember him to be kind and patient and I have seen some of his work (probably also at Corning) which was also appealing. You can probably do a google search to find out more.

I am taking his class in May. Looking forward to it! I have heard that he is good from another member here.

I'm sure one of his classes at Corning is on YouTube. You can search Corning Museum of Glass, and there are heaps of vids to download. He did one on boro ornaments, it was great!

I've watched that one several times. He is definitely a teacher I would enjoy learning from.

Watch out for the Corning cops. The speed limit in the entire town is 25. The cops hide everywhere and the "speeding" tickets are expensive. Especially if you are an out of stater.
