Claudia Pagel (Glasting) Teaching in Indianapolis, IN - November 2011
We are very excited to announce that international glass artist Claudia Pagel (Glasting) will be teaching two, two-day classes at Indy Flame Art in Indianapolis, Indiana!
The weekend class syllabus has been changed also to the Surface Decoration and Design class. (The PMC/Glass class on the weekend did not generate as much interest) The Thurs/Fri class is close to full, and now the Surface Decoration and Design class is open for the weekend.
CLASS ONE: Thursday/Friday - November 10 & 11, 2011
CLASS TWO: Friday/Saturday - November 12 & 13, 2011

CLASS POLICY
All classes require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your seat. Should Indy Flame Art need to cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund or credit toward another class, your choice.
You may schedule your classes by using the Paypal buttons at the bottom of our Guest Instructor page at www.indyflameart.com, OR by calling Sallie at 317-440-0654 and paying your non-refundable deposit, within 3 days, by check/money order made payable to Indy Flame Art (studio pictured below)

Claudia is my stringerwork idol Expect me to be sitting there all starry-eyed.
When it gets closer to the class time, I'll be asking for some suggestions of hotels nearby. If there are other people from out of town attending, I'd like to be in the same location to potentially hang out after class, go to dinner, etc.

Here are my suggestions for housing. We have two really nice bed and breakfasts that are close to the studio:
The Old Northside Inn
The Nestle Inn
There are plenty of hotels downtown Indy, which are about 5 minutes from the studio.
We are really excited about Claudia's class, and look forward to seeing everyone! We really appreciate you!

There are two spots in the Thursday/Friday class (somebody switched spots), and only one spot in the weekend class. The cost is $450 and includes supplies and lunch. Let us know if you want to join us!

Quick question..... what size lentil press? It looks to me like it's a straight sided one and I know I don't have such a press. I appreciate that for the class you are rounding up lent presses, but I would love to still aquire one for myself if I can. I've put out a querie on the Garage sale hopeing I can score a previously loved one

Ofilia, just think of how much fun we would have had if you showed up a week early? We could have melted a lot of glass!!
Jeri, I'm glad that it worked out that will be joining us!
Everyone should have recieved an email with class information. Just bring your normal and favorite tools, glasses, and any lentil presses that you may have. (Any size is okay, however, straight sided presses are preferred) We will have extra presses at the class for you to use.
We are really excited to host this class, and look forward to seeing everyone!!

I just wanted to say that this was a WONDERFUL class! Everyone was extremely nice and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was great to meet all of you! It was especially nice to meet Claudia. I am still in complete awe of her talent and stringer skill. I feel very priviledged to have attended.
