Default Things in bottles

I have been obsessed lately with putting things in little bottles in the genre of ship-in-a-bottle type stuff.

My method: I square of a closed tube(creating the bottom of the bottle), punty up, pop a bubble 2" down, cut the blowtube side off, trim to a 90 angle, put the object in, cut v's on the open end to reduce the volume for the neck and marver. Anyone have a better method I would love to hear it.

This devil was one of my earlier attempts.

These are a couple I did last year before I felt the need to put things in them.

Oh no! shame, maybe you can save the tree and try again? interesting problem. Could you try to create the neck ring separately to save all that marvering down? or is it easier to do that than try to attach a little piece with all that heat?

This was a different tech I really haven’t got to work. Build small detail on a flat piece of glass larger than the diameter of the tube and marry that with an open tube and trim the excess. Shaping the neck is where It fails. I am too atention deficit to keep it all hot I suppose. But you may be on to something about shaping the neck first.
