Default Pictures from my computer to ebay~brightness variation...

Hi,

When I download my pictures to my computer (iMac), I adjust the lighting, etc and everything will look beautiful and bright, but when I download those same pictures onto my ebay auction, the brightness isn't the same as after I adjusted it! It's the darker picture from before I adjusted the brightness...

Any help or suggestions? PLEASE! I don't understand why this is happening!

I have noticed that the pictures I put on Ebay are a bit darker.

Why not just lighten them up a bit more?

I tried lightening them up even more and they STILL look like I didn't lighten them up at all.....

I'm at a loss...

I lightened the background up a bit for you, hope you don't mind.

What program are you using to manipulate your photos?

I acutally just got some help from the Apple Forum. Seems that I have to export my pictures from my library onto my desktop (at least, that's the option I chose) before I can adjust brightness. It worked perfectly!

But, Hey! Thanks for doing that with my photos....your GOOD at this stuff!!1

Thanks VERY much!!

Lynn - there is a Level's tutorial. http://www.lampworketc.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=11879

It tells you how to fix the background color levels in Photoshop. Very helpful!

Here is another tutorial for picture taking: http://blog.glassbysarah.com/2006/11...oshopping.aspx
