Thanks very much Mimi. I figured it was close to that but wanted to make sure before I "wasted" glass. Its amazing how stingy I've gotten with my glass.

You can also leave the dots raised and follow those same steps and you'll end up with a more sculptural or textured look

Yes, the raised look is cool also, makes the surface look almost quilted......
