hey buddy, i have a couple questions as well. i am having a hard time with the air bubble behind the flower as well. when i get to the end i have a pretty big "cave" in my marble. now i just tried an hour ago, i heated just the base of the marble and marvered it but there is still a slight divot... now am i supposed to PUSH down when i marver the very bottom? or just let gravity work it like usual?

i just cant seem to get the bubble entirely out. anything else you can recommend?

thanx again

I'll have another large group of marbles being sent out mid week. We have had classes at the studio (yes, even on Easter - not sure how that got planned.. LOL) so I had less torch time than normal over the past few days.
Ron
I do have a new cool color design though....

Char... yes each flower design has a special cane that layers colors in a way to create unique effects. I'll keep in mind the purple and blues for when I start playing with new colors designs.
Thanks!

Ron, do you have dates yet for the classes? School gets out in mid June and starts in late August. I know everyone says not to visit FL during the summer, but really that is the only time I can get there.

And while your mind is thinking of pinks and blues for Char, I need it to also think pansies. I am getting much better at getting rid of the bubble in the middle. Thanks for your help.

i think i have to be brave and open my boro samples. I just don't have any clear for punty or lens...
questions---
-My (104) implosions come out looking like petal-ly fireworks, not quite a flower yet. the bloom gets really narrow really quick. Any suggestions?
-I have a devilbiss on a minor torch. Do you think that could handle 1"-ish boro marbles/pendants?

-What are the dates of orders are you working on for shipping those awesome marbles?
Thanks for such an inspiring thread and tutorial! you've done a great job!

Thanks for the questions. I'll send you a PM with some hints.
Marbles.. right now I have a backlog of 29... but that number changes everyday....
I have a bunch going out this week and have a free weekend to melt glass without events getting in the way. By Monday, I should be shipping on May 10th and newer. If you are prior to that, look for your marbel in the mail by mid next week.
Thanks!
Ron

I think we are looking at the end of July or early August. No date is set yet. Rocio has some international classes coming up, so we wont be able to pin down dates until she gets back... Look for class dates posted by June 20th.
Thanks!
