Default Nortel torch setup

My kiln, concentrator and Nortel torch have finally arrived. I am going to connect to a BBQ propane tank to get me started. Problem is I am having a hard time finding the right hoses with the right connectors and accessories (regulator and flash back arrest ours in Ottawa. My torch has the actual brass connectors and not the barbs while the contractor has a plastic barb. I can't find a supplier in Ottawa that sells the package deal. Any ideas?

Can you post a couple of photos of what you're trying to connect to?

Your torch has standard welding hose connectors that are left hand (counter clockwise) thread for fuel and right hand thread (clockwise) for oxygen.......

The small grooves in hex area of hose nuts designates left hand thread...

Any good (commercial) welding supply should be able to help you.... You can also get welding "twin hose" and separate it to run to fuel regulator and concentrator... Concentrator if threaded connection should be same as welding hose but right hand thread.... Plastic barb on concentrater should unscrew and there should be standard welding hose threaded fitting under it...

Be sure hose is type 'T' which is all fuel approved, type "R" is for acetylene only...
