Thank you Rob for your tutorial, and your timing couldn’t have been better.
I had a special request about beads with a seventies look or design to them.
I always consider this of requests challenging and very interesting. They usually push me onto a path that I wouldn’t have normally gone to.
So when I saw your tutorial I just thought they would be just perfect, if I picked the right colors… So here are the 3 sets that I’ve come up with…

Wow Sylvie,
I love the orange beads!! They do look retro.
Are they made with a twistie? or Rounds of glass in each layer
Thanks

Thanks.
They were made with a twisted cane and you get different looks depending on how tight your twist is (I hope it makes sense...).

Makes sense ! I am sure your customer will love them.
I am twistie challenged but have tried this morning.
Must learn better heat control. Off to practice PPP

Sylvie, may I ask if you used a tight or fairly loose twist? My twisty beads didnt look nearly as good as yours.

On those beads, the twist was kind of loose. I'll try to post a little piece of the twisted cane I have left from the blue - green set tonight.
And if I haven't trash it already, my very first wave bead which was made with a tight twist so that you can see the difference.

Sylvie,
WOW those look spectacular.

VolkanoKaren - If your twistie is less than 3mm thick it can be fairly loose any larger than 3mm and I would start to tighten up the twist. The larger the thickness of the twistie the tighter the twist needs to be.

I just wanted to say "Your Welcome" to everyone who has thanked me for this tutorial.
I have had some people show some interest recently in a spiral disk tutorial. I am currently working on this and should have it completed soon. Stay tuned!

Very pretty Madaline! Love the look of the Pandora and your silver core really sets it off.
