Default how long can i leave my tanks on?

let's say i want to come in and make supper and put the kids to bed but plan to work glass in a few hours. do you think it's safe to leave my tanks on? my oxygen is inside. my propane is outside, and i turn off the shut off valve inside the house. thanks for any help!

Always be in the habit of shutting down you when your done, leaving it partly closed for a few hours is not the best of ideas, always better be as safe as you can when dealing with something that could blow your house off its foundation

thanks for your input, keltik.

back in the day, i used to be able to use my torch for several hours at a time. now with two children, i only have an hour or two here and there throughout the day.

of course, safety is my primary concern!

I would get into habit of shutting tanks down when ever you are leaving studio space, except for maybe restroom trip or to fill coffee cup...
