Default CBS Splinter extract

Has anyone tried it? Pictures/suggestions?
I tried the regular dichroic extract (the powder) and was very disappointed.
The Splinter is larger pieces but before I decide to invest $300.00 in a set I was hoping to get some info. Thanks.

Have you tried the search function?

I am pretty sure someone sometime in the last year or three has posted something about it.

Thanks, I just read all the posts. Dichro extract is mentioned but not Splinter extract.
I'm thinking is way too expensive for most of us to play with.

What was that old saying ?

I have some ... use it frequently in soft glass beads. Haven't figured how to keep it form burning out in boro.

Can't say I have anything spectacular to share that uses it.

I have just a single bottle of rainbow splinter that I bought.

That's splinter? Looks like regular, if it looks the same I won't need to want it haha.

I've not used splinter simply because of cost.

It was sold as rainbow splinter.

I have regular as well extracts as well bought the sample set when Delphi was having a really good discount.

The splinter is a larger flake and has various colors but gold is definitely the predominant one. But yes, I'm with you ... I don't see any splinter effect ... think the particles are too small to do it justice.

I have some that was sold to me second hand as splinter. I can't tell the difference, and have wondered if it was just the regular. That said, I got it for a good price and I do like it.
