Absolutely love all the fuming and the dogs are incredible! Marcel, your knife made my jaw drop! Beautiful work!

I've got some basic beads but I'm excited because they're made with my new frit blend, Invictus, which is the first blend in my newly-opened Etsy shop, Hot Flash Frit.

Love all the fuming everyone is playing with. You all are a wonderful inspiration.

Need to break out the gold casting grain now that the weather is warm enough to leave the door open for replacement air!!

Everyones work is phenomenal. I haven't turned my torch on since last November, so it feels great to be back at it.

1 gram of gold will last you a long, long time! only about 60 bucks and you can make hundreds of pendants or whatever out of a gram. pretty worth it to me!

Yep. Gold goes a long way.

I believe I used 2 sheets of 24k gold leaf to start with, and even though I fumed pretty heavily, my fuming rod still had plenty left after that piece =)

Pleased to see that of the $100 of gold I bought in 1999, I still have about $60 worth... e.g. $350 now. Argh! That's fantastic, but it doesn't make me feel like doing much fuming.

Dave-
Have been working on a few jellyfish from your toutorial the first few went in the scrap bin. These are getting close to what you do. The hardest part for me is getting enough clear to flow over the head so all of the color gets encased before putting on the loop. Think another 10 or 20 practice pc. will get me in the groove. Thanks again for the well written ilistrated tut. I had never thought of using what I think of as the face of an implosion and turning it around.

Terry,
Your jellies a looking great. To get a little more clear you might try to heat the sides of the maria and let it flow over the head. Nice work!

Onekura, I love these swirls!
Do you have a tut?

PaPi, I'm beginning to think this isn't your first rodeo! Great work!

cool, sweet work this month. Is July fuming month and no one bothered to tell me? I'll have to get cracking on some fumed pieces
I've got a bunch of colour coming over, hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow, yay. Then I can get a move on with some big work for the September exhibition.
In the meantime all I have is this, smaller work which is decidedly unfumed

to avoid confusion, there are 3 marbles pictures, front, side and back

sabertooth marble
snake skeltek marble
ghostfrog over random bubble action (the fourth picture is with a light behind the marble

Some incredible boro pieces shown so far. I played with boro yesterday for the first time in a year...getting back into the groove of things by starting with a simple star weight, one of my best sellers. 1" tall, 2" across.

I like that rainbow 1-pc sherly, the unob spoons & jar are cool too. I'd like a better pic of that spirally crazy straw piece though...and the black one with the bright greeny fume looking honeycombish bowl near it.

Looks like you're having fun =)

Thanks Chris. I'm afraid I cant post better pictures of the spiraly crazy piece, since it's been "used" (*cough cough*). BUT, if you DID want to see pictures that I cant post here, you could click http://s1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb416/wakeglass/

I got yelled at once for a picture of a used piece, so sorry again
