Default what colors are selling?

I know this has been done but tastes do change with seasons...a bit.

I seem to have success with the turquoise/coral combo and some of the neutral/double helix combos but beyond that I never know what sets to make for a show.

It's spring, any surprises out there?

Laurie

I dont know if this is a trend but I've been asked to make more brightly/hot colored beads. Oranges, blues greens.

Purple is always a favorite too. (if you can find the right one)

I've been looking for a soft blue, but I would like a much lighter version of periwinkle which I don't see out there.

Every year Pantone selects a primary color for the fashion industry.

Many designers use this color and jewelry artists will often make
pieces to contrast or complement it.

Pantone color for 2011

I took my mom to the mall last week, saw a lot of orange, don't know if that means it will be "big" though.

Looking at the 2012 colour, it's a tangerine orange.

http://www.pantone.com/pages/fcr.asp...rom=hpfeatures

Also seeing a palette including a grey that could be adamantium, and a green that could be petroleum green, among others.

I'm not at the selling stage yet, but this is what is on that Pantone site, and seems to match up with what you're seeing in stores.

No matter what the 'in' colors are, I've found that most folks are either fans of green or blue. I try to include a touch of one or the other on almost everything. I myself am a lime green person, and will buy pretty much anything with that color on it!

Thank you. I seem to have had the fall 2012 one.

Guess it's good to plan ahead, too!

Whatever you don't have any of ....

The prettiest soft blue is Messy Mint Lozenge Ltd. Run.

Love the fall palette, yum.

Seeing a lot of orange and pink combos, along with funky aqua/turquoise in costume jewelery in stores. Pretty and bright!
