Default Old keys with glass bead

Is anyone making the old skeleton keys with the bead on them. If so, how do you hold them. My clip things just aren't working! Any help would be appreciated so much!

I made a few of these. They are a little heavy and you have to be careful to keep your bead centered, but it works for me. http://www.lampworketc.com/forums/sh...eleton+mandrel

I use a giant hemostat that I bought at Harbor Freight. Big locking clamp on a long handle. Like a ginormous roach clip.

If the old key has a hole in the end, I put a mandrel on it and dip the whole thing in release. If it's solid, I use one of my short rod holders.
