Default Forgotten Beads

Hi All -
I'm fairly new...have a quick question:

I made a couple of sets today. First set went in the kiln.

Second set.... I forgot all about (duh)... and just realized they were still laying in my fiber blanket.

I had to wait for my first set to cool down. I then turned the kiln back on, put the "forgotten beads" in and am going to let it cycle thru.

Is this the right tactic? Or am I screwed????

One of the beads in the second set is VERY large.

Thanks!

Does your kiln have a bead door? It doesn't actually cost very much more to just run your kiln while you're working, and put them directly in. In fact, it's so cheap that just one broken bead a day would cost you more, if it would have been a salable bead.

In reply to your question though, if it made it into the kiln without breaking it should be fine.
