Default Silver Glass Volume I: An Introduction to Reduction Frit

Hey everyone! As most of you know, Jason loves working with silver glass! He held an Artist in Residence position at the Mesa Arts Center (Mesa, AZ) for over a year, and has taught silver glass there as well as our own studio. We have put together the first in a series of silver glass tutorials. This tutorial is an introduction to reduction silver glass frit - includes over 40 bead recipes. It's available in our Etsy shop for instant download. Thanks for looking and if you have questions, let us know!

-Andrea

What type of Frit. I hate buying a tutorial and then realizing I don't have the materials.

Thanks Laura
bbisker, the step by step of the tutorial uses Double Helix Pysche. The recipes at the end of the tutorial are primarily Double Helix frits and a TAG frit.

Looks great! Gotta get this.
Andrea I'm on NG. A lot of times with the tutorials I feel like I'm in another world cuz most ppl use propane.
Does Jason use propane or NG? I can reduce alot of the silver glasses but Psyche is one I still struggle with.

Currently I use natural gas set at 1/4 psi. In our previous studio I was using propane (I don't remember the psi setting) and got similar colors using the same technique.
