Default Flower and leaf tool??

Hi, this tool came in a glass purchase I made. The invoice said it's a flower and leaf tool but I cannot figure out how to use it. Can anyone help me with this one?

I ass-u-me one makes a gather, mooshes it flat and pulls the edge out into a pointed tip with that tool.

It looks like it would be good for picking up pre-made flower petals and hold them while the attachment point is reheated to attach to the 'central bud' at the base of the flower.

ETA: But I am guessing. Making flowers in not something I have tried much.

I think I remember Arrowsprings making that tool in response to a famous floral making teacher request (Kim Fields?) to use in manipulating applied stringer on the surface of the bead.

The memory is a terrible thing to lose!

might help press small dots into petals, larger mashers or tweezers would not work as easily.
