Thanks Deb. I would love to get it now and read it over before the class. I get so overwhelmed in classes with so much to absorb in so little time. This will give me a chance to digest what you will be teaching and maybe make some decent class beads. My class beads always look like sh*t IMO. PM me on how to buy it now. 4 weeks to go and counting...I can't wait!

We are going to have a blast! If you learn the shells in boro it gets way easier to go back and do them out of soft glass, main thing is keeping the soft glass HOT. The boro gives you more time to experiment with techniques which is why I always teach them out of boro.

I will also have my boro shell tutorial available at the show for $20 for BOTH parts! (If you would like to get a little ahead for the class I will honor that price now so you can get it before the show. This is because you are IN that class that I am offering this early. Everyone else will have to get it at my booth or classroom.)

See you then sweetie,
Glassy hugs!

Has anyone received their paperwork for their classes? I haven't. I have the email I got when I purchased the class but that doesn't even have what class I purchased listed. Lori

Leslie, she said something this week about things were getting mailed..but just in case give her a shout at patty@lvmanagement.com She's pretty good about answering back quickly, think she's been too busy to monitor this thread.

My paperwork came in today's mail. I am just impatient. I am excited to be going to the show again. I have missed the last two years. It's always a good time. Lori

So other than the official classes, are there any unofficial get togethers going on? Im going for the first time and by myself and dont really want to spend all my off time alone in my room. Im getting into vegas on Thurs afternoon. Is there anything going on thurs night?

That aside, I am very excited to be going. Doing 1 flameworking class and one chain maille class. Wanted to do more but husband nixed it (grrr).

Okay, if anyone wants to go Turquoise Mining in Tonopah here is the scoop -

Tonopah is a town about 200 miles away from Vegas. Wednesday March 30th is the day we can go. The tour/mining is around 4 hours and no one leaves empty handed. The cost is $100. If you are interested, call (775) 482-9889 and reserve a spot with a $20 deposit.

PM me if you have any other questions.

Looking forward to the show!

Soft Flex will be in our regular spot (right in between the Bead Bazaar and the Gallery of Excellence, booth 603).

We will have all of our new Soft Flex Craft Wire with us (http://www.softflexcompany.com/Categ...lex+Craft+Wire)

If you are looking for something particular, or would like to place an order online and have us bring it with us to the show for you to pick up, please contact my email and let me know. (FYI, we will not have as many of our high-end gemstones with us as we have had the past couple of years...so if you are interested in any items like that on our website - we'd be happy to bring a selection of them along for you to look at in person - just need to know ahead of time)

See you all in a couple weeks!

Jenny

Thanks,

? So I don't have to pay taxi fare if I'm flying in late Thursday afternoon if I'm staying at the Hotel? Hum...I gotta get it going on! I could sure use that extra $25...to spend at the show, of course!

Yes De! Just call the toll free hotel number and get your name on the shuttle list. But I can't remember when the quit for the night. But if you're coming in the afternoon, I'm sure you will get on.

I remember the first year the show was at the South Point there were 4 of us and the first day we spent $75 in taxis. Ever since then I just rent a car and go where ever we want. I got one for $15/day this time! Less hassle...

Hey Mary! I've got a room by myself too. Should we cancel one and share? I roomed with Janel Zorko a couple years ago if you'd like a reference. lol (I don't spend much time in the room - generally in the casino til 'all hours'; but I come in quietly.

Any sort of LE get together/dinner/swap planned yet? Last year was fun but we missed some people (smiley, otter's flame, I'm looking at you!).

yep, I got some murrini I will be sure to bring. I believe you expressed an interest in some ladybugs? And you know I'm just as happy to trade it for everyone's beads as to sell it

It's a Vegas family vacation! Never been to this show, and I've never been to Vegas..
I've been working maximium hours at the torch to get as much product piled up as possible and can't wait to be packed up and on the road.
We'll be at booth F-11, with a bunch of new blown boro beauties.
Looking forward to seeing you all there! Safe and happy travels!

Trade, did someone mention trade?? Proceed directly to my table please!!

I am home in NJ, packing and wondering how this could possibly be worth all this work!! Am I the only one who has sort of a pre-show meltdown without fail???

Two of my classes are pretty full, two fairly empty, so if you are thinking of a last minute hot glass class, PM me!! I am looking forward to some bead socializing, it has been a long time since the Gathering!! My booth is me and Schermo, and you will meet my mom if you stop by the table (she does the bead stuff while I'm teaching).

See you soon, (too soon arghh, where did I put the tissue paper.....) Jeri

Can't wait to see everyone! I'm all packed and ready to go.

I'm up for trades, too! Come on by booth B-2

* Lampwork tutorials (PDF on CD)
* Jewelry tutorials - I'm bringing a load of basic jewelrymaking tutorials that incorporate lampwork beads!
* Murrine - I have both 104 and 33 and am bringing them specifically for trades
* Boro Flowers (no trade on these guys)
