So is that in SR or Gualala? I just noticed your location. My dad's also a glassblower and I know if I show him your pics he'll be jealous too.

Very cool. I go mushroom hunting up near Gualala- it's beautiful there. I think there's a guy named Sonny Creswell that my dad knows, who does glass out by the coast but I'm not sure where. Anyhow, it looks like you'll have lots of glass fun no matter where you are!

There is alot of really tasty mushrooms up there. One of my good friends in Gualala is a mushroom expert along with a long time Bead Artist.
Yum! I'm hungry just thinking about mushroom soup!
I haven't heard of Sonny, but if He is blowing glass on the coast, you know he's having a good time!

Hi Mark,
I have a AIM 50lb wire melter that will sit inside my shop that you see in the background. I am using my large top opening glass fusing kiln for my annealer
until I build a front opening annealer. I built the bench from an old stainless steel stand as the base which I added electrical conduit that I bent as the rails. Then I made the seat and the tool bench on the side.
I made the yoke so that it would slide in and out from under the gloryhole
through carriers that have finger set screws so it is adjustable and it stores
itself when not in use. If you look in the pictures at the front of the gloryhole you can see the horizontal bar and the yoke.

Wow that is so very cool. I had no idea you could set up a glory hole like that. The next thing I am thinking is I am going to need a bigger space and how long is it going to take me to save up enough dough to roll in it like that.

Would if I could as we are getting a steer this year, but the border would have a few things to say about it.
Next suggestion?
