If it's the Sheraton near the airport, I think you'll be happy with that pick. The rooms aren't huge but they're comfy and attractive. I stayed there last year coming and going from Glass Stock.

yes it's the one by the airport, I have a very early flight out on Tuesday. Just thought that I would post one of the thing that I have done to save money.....of course we know why we need to save money......glass.....glass...glass....

Great looking out Jeri, we can all use to save some $!
Remember, Teague is so right, weather is always a guess here, especially this year, so weird! Can't wait to see you Teague, hugs!!!
Also, the venue is huge but if we can avoid rolling carts for tools and gear that would be awesome!
OH, teachers will all have small lockers, bring your own lock please!

Hello all. Looks like it is going to be a couple of weeks of firsts for me...never posted on LE, never been to glass stock, never been to Oregon for that matter 
I was hoping you all might be able to help out on hotels. I've called around all over Eugene looking for somewhere that isn't going to cost me more than my airfare and so far the only one I have found that isn't completely booked is the America's Best Inn. Does anyone know anything about this hotel? Reviews I've seen are mixed, but there were a couple saying it was in a shady area of town and being a solo traveler arriving at 10:30pm on Wed, that made me nervous.
Any and all thoughts are welcome and I'm looking forward to Glass Stock!

Alana, Welcome aboard! I don't know anything about that hotel or location (it's been ages since I've been to Eugene), but one option you may want to check, if you haven't already, is the Mi Casa Guesthouse. I think there are at least a few attendees staying there. It's apparently a youth hostel without the youth and is very inexpensive. Also, I think I heard from someone that the Broadway Inn is supposed to be pretty decent and fairly reasonably priced. Maybe you've already checked on it?
