Default Etching Crystals

Good afternoon,

Not being able to find EtchAll liquid in Canada, I was able to get a container of etching crystals. One question ... may have been answered before but I could not find it using the search function. Do you have to use the whole container (i.e. add boiling water to the full jar of crystals - half way up) or can you use only a portion of the crystals? I thought I had read that you did not have to use the whole jar but the written instructions on the label say otherwise. What has your experience been?

I don't mean to restart the discussion on the health risks associated with chemical etching.

Thanks!

Lyne

I always use the whole jar. It makes a good size for etching all kinds of beads and lasts forever.
