You must know Yoopers Nevadaglass! I like your work Uncle Louie you need a bit of spun glass training to make bases to put your work on there is clockwise, counter clockwise and what i call a pull and grab. sometime ill try and post a few picks on how it is done. If you flatten the end like you do and then take a pair of needle nose and pinch around the base it will give it a nice small base also. But I like it Ilike it. You are a Glass Bender

Welcome! I think many of us were drawn to glass by Glass Benders. My earliest glass-passion memories were definitely of artists at fairs (and eventually at Disney) working their magic. I'd LOVE to take a class someday!-Gail

I remember standing with my nose up against the glass watching a glass bender. I used to collect them (many, many years ago). I was thrilled to see the one of the DC Capital Building in the Smithsonian. I hope to see much more of your work.

I have a home in Sault Sainte Marie, MI, in Cape Coral, FL and in Marseille,France. My husbands job demands that we move to those three place 2-3 times a year, its a royal pain. But I can't stand the cold and love the heat and I am in Sault Michigan all the time. Hope we can bump into each other.

I have a home in Rogers City so I'm not that far either. Spun glass was my first exposure to art glass when I was a little girl visiting San Antonio.
