I was wondering if anyone could tell me the prosses for receiving payment through PayPal? I have an account but have only used it to make payments, not receive

Their site has FAQ that will answer most questions.... Probably most simple way to collect funds is to have them credited to a debit card and you can spend as needed....

Norma, you can either create an invoice or have the person send the funds to you. Either way, you need their PP email or/and they need yours.

There is a charge, maybe 3 or 4%.

You do. The fee is automatically deducted from the payments you receive from your customers.

Make sure you stay within the best practices outlined in the contract. For instance, if you want paypals protection you must originate the invoice and only ship to the buyers approved address registered with PP. Also, never save the fees by issuing a service invoice for goods sold.

I don't think that you must ship to a PayPal verified address to get the seller protection, if that's what you mean. Used to be so, but no more.
