Default Newbie Hearts

Ok, so I've just started on the dark side...#1 pic is my first ever boro heart..
yeah, well.. could have done better.. waaaaaaay better.
So, I read a bit, played off mandrel a bit, read a bit more, played a bit more.. you get the picture?
And yesterday decided to make some boro hearts... and this is what I came up with.. first pic is my first ever one.. and the others are my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th attempts...

- 1st ever boro heart

Very nice. The third one is well constructed. The frit across the top is good and the wavy color across the bottom is good. Also, not much clear at the bottom. Very good!

Thank you - the 3rd one was actually the last one.. when I found that I could actually pull the clear glass off and just leave the blue.. lol
Im discovering how forgiving this glass is... I made some swizzle sticks.. just clear 4mm with coloured twists on the top, made one yesterday and looked at it today and hated the top.. so I stuck it back in the flame, added a bit more colour, twisted again and generally played around with it.. now if that had been soft glass !!!!!
