Arrow Kim Fields in Maine -- May 15-16, 2010

Kim Fields
at Playing with Fire!
Rockland, Maine

This two-day workshop will be a wonderful combination of two of Kim's classes:
Taking Flight: Sculptural Glass Bird Beads
& The Garden Path: Floral Beads

~ May 15-16, 2010
Saturday - Sunday
$500.00 Lunches included. Possible Materials fee TBA

Kim Fields began making glass beads in 1999 after an introductory lampworking class led her to the book, "Making Glass Beads" by Cindy Jenkins. She attributes her beadmaking skills to great teachers including Sage and Tom Holland, Leah Fairbanks, Loren Stump and several other accomplished beadmakers. Lampworking has brought Kim tremendous joy and she continues to explore new techniques in order to evolve as a beadmaker. Kim teaches beadmaking and her work can be seen at numerous shows, galleries, and online at www.northfiredesigns.com

Please call 207-594-7805 to reserve your seat, and then please download our Class/Workshop enrollment form, and mail with your payment by check or credit card, or Fax your form to us with your credit card info. Accommodations: We recommend the Old Granite Inn, conveniently located just a few doors down from the studio. They extend 20% off any room rate year-round to Playing with Fire! students.

Virginia,

I KNOW it will be a great class! So far, I'm the only one I see in here that's in it!

Come on, y'all. Where are you? lol... did you like the Southern twang?

Kim's work... what can we say... isn't it absolutely stunning?! If you've been considering this opportunity... NOW is the time to call us at 207-594-7805 to reserve your seat---we really do need to hear from everyone right away.

Wouldn't this class make a nice Mother's Day gift -- to yourself(!)
May 15-16 here on the coast of Maine should be really nice, as we're already way ahead in the weather department---already mow-able grass and the flowers are 3 weeks ahead of schedule! The Old Granite Inn's gardens will be looking good, and they'll still be in the "quiet season" for room rates---which are 20% off to our students year 'round!

Here we are just a couple of days away from Kim's class, and it's beautiful weather -- in the mid-60s! The lawns are green and Rockland is blooming with flowers!

We have two seats still available, and it's not too late to give us a call to sign up!

We are soooooooooooo looking forward to this weekend!

KIM FIELDS came to Maine. She came. She taught and she conquered. She won our hearts and we look forward to the time when Ed & Virginia have her come back....

Here is a link to where I posted pictures of the class.
