Best torch for detail ?
Hello boro people, I have recently been making insect/arachnid sculptures with a Carlisle mini CC. It is a great torch, it gives a micro cool foame for welding tiny joints etc. Does anyone have a preference for small work ?

When I need a really Fine flame I use my 3a with a shelbo 3hole whisper tip

When I am fusing joins on my tree branches, I use a Smith Little torch, which is connected with a 'Y' clamp to my regular torch. It's also a great torch for many jewelry applications.

TORCH IS SOLD --- I have a National 3A I never use, if any one is interested, I'd sell it cheap.

The Gentech and Smith mini torches are really amazing for tiny detail.

Thanks everyone, I also have a 3A with a "jewelery" tip, perfect for welds and crack repairs. I will check out the Gentech and Smith torches. Wesley Fleming is definitely the Bugmaster !

Thanks for the input. I recently hooked up a Gentech Micro torch that I had in storage, (I got it with a regulator set a while back.) Great for tiny welds, etc. Cosmo, I took your statement to heart, and have been usung the CC for my little stuff as well, that torch really can do it all.
