Glow Frit
I bought some coarse (not powder) glow in the dark frit to make a pendant but don't have a clue how to use it. Anyone care to "illuminate" me?
Can I use any color rods with the frit?
Does a little go a long way or is it the opposite? I bought 1 gram. What can this amount make?

I've only used the glow powder. But I can tell you that it was basically like any other frit/powder. It stayed kind of corse in texture and was a bitch to encase, but was pretty cool.

I have the coarse g-i-t-d frit. I've only made one skull pendant for my nephew so far. I softened the end of a clear rod and picked it up with that. Melted it in and pressed. It was a little bit mottled looking but it was fine.

The thing to remember about many of the glow products, especially the powder, is that it's not glass. It's a compound that will stick to glass (sort of) and seems to be compatible with most glass but it will behave differently from glass. Glow rods tend to be lumpy and the frit is probably the same materials just crunched up. It doesn't melt out the same way that regular glass does.
