Default Boro by the rod

I know... I ask too many questions.

I was looking for places where I could buy boro by the rod.

I've found a few sites but most have a minimum order, extremely excessive shipping fees, no way of ordering online or your choices are very limited.

Anyone know of a good one?

Thanks,
Karen

www.lampworkingsupplies.com has a minimum order of 1/4 pound for boro color (which is usually 2-3 rods), and you can buy clear by the individual rod. Their "rods" are not the rods you are used to. They are pretty long, and they cut them into three pieces about 16-18" long. So if you order one piece, you get three normal sized rods.

Well, I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you just about as tight as I possibly can without hurting myself

Thanks so much everyone You all are SO much help!

Hmmm... well Paula, how to word this? It seems I put all my little duckies into the ability to play with boro and forgot a crucial element in the process Having to control my budget by limiting my buys to the "must haves".

At Mountain Glass Arts http://www.mountainglassarts.com/ you can order by the rod. They have no minimum, offer same day shipping on orders placed before 1:30 pm (I think it's 1:30) and are super nice people. You can also order online.
